This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the privacy practices for our applications, extensions, or otherwise (“Extension” and “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how Urban Cyber Security Inc. (“Urban”, “we”, or “our”) may collect information from you, how we may use, maintain, protect, and share your information, and how you can control your information.

The Services are governed by the applicable terms, EULA, or otherwise, and this Privacy Policy is incorporated therein by reference.

POLICY AMENDMENTS: We reserve the right to amend this Policy from time to time, at our sole discretion. The most recent version of the Policy will always be posted on the website. The updated date of the Policy will be reflected in the “Last Updated” heading. We will provide notice to you if these changes are material, and, where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent. Any amendments to this Policy will become effective within 30-days upon the display of the modified Policy. We recommend you review this Policy periodically to ensure that you understand our most updated privacy practices.

What information does the Extension process?

When using the Extension we collect technical information about your computer, or other devices you use to access the Services (“Device Data”), you IP address to determine the country from which you are using the Extension as well as: browsing activity and pages viewed, URLs referred, click stream data, ads viewed, interaction with ads, where the ads were placed, search engine results page data (keyword, ads displayed, order or index of results, and links of results) (“Browsing Data”);

How is your information used and why?

We only use the information to provide the services, we need to know the pages you are on, the ads you are viewing to block or warn about such content.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Extension?

We may disclose your information:

1. As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
2. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
3. With our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

What are my choices with my personal information?

If you’d like to exercise any of your rights, please contact us at privacy (at) urban-vpn.com. We will respond in a reasonable time. Further, through the Extension setting you can toggle out of Browsing Data collections, however, please note that some or all functionalities will be harmed and not deliver the services properly.

Data Retention Policy

We will retain your information for as long as you use the Extension and for a reasonable time thereafter.

Children

We do not use the Extension to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy (at) urban-vpn.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Extension. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes
